Goodbye, Burger King

Unexpected and out of the blue,

But I think I’m tired of you.

You lied to me.

I thought you would never harm me,

that I would be okay.

Everyone says that you’re unhealthy,

But for some reason you intrigued me.

Your amazing prices and sneaky marketing -

I trusted you.

But as it seems,

You have been deceiving me

from day one.

Exploitation of innocence,

A despicable deed.

Deep frying of almost anything,

Sounds delicious to me.

But alas I have found,

That you’re not the only option.

There are others,

just like you.

Except,

they will respect my body,

They are good for me,

They make me feel good,

They make me a better person.

although they are harder to find,

The search seems worth it.

Goodbye, Burger King.

You really deserve it.
