Goodbye Love

I love you goodbye The last words she said. His voice his eyes The images in her head A tear light blue Rolling down cheeks Falling like lead No words that she speaks. I love you goodbye The last words she said. She tosses and turns She can’t get to bed. Lying alone with no one to hold Realized that she not only empty But left was a hole. I love you goodbye The last words she said. She wrote this on paper The color dark red Though love can be found And never forgotten You’ll stay in my heart Closed up like a locket. I love you goodbye The last words she said.
