Goodbye for Now

Grandma you have now left us physically

And I am left with sorrow

I am praying that you can still be with me spiritually

And you will be by my side tomorrow

Saying my last goodbyes were rough

It just doesn’t seem like it can be true

I’m trying to hold it together and stay tough

But a few tears have slipped through

You’ll never get to see me graduate

And walk across the stage

I️ am in a broken state

My heart is filled with rage

I know you are finally at rest

watching over me, I feel blessed
