Goodbyes

Four years spend behind a desk listening to my teacher lecture

The four walls around me as I wait for that clock to strike to the last bell

I sit in math class learning about vectors

Looking at my grades I see that now I'm walking on eggshells

Three years pass and finally its the last year

I am exicited to leave and get out of this prison

A few more months and I will get ready to cheer

As I dream about soon becoming a perfect musician

The clock ticks down and so does the year

Soon I begin to realize that this is beginning to be hard

The class of 2015 thoughts were so clear

 My last report card

How unreal I look at all my friends

And begin to cry

This was it and everything was changing

And now I have to say my goodbyes

Goodbye to my friends

Goodbye to my teachers

Goodbye the finally words I say as I walk across the stage

As I walk to get my paper in my cap and gown

This was the end

Never again would I see the faces in the crowd

And this was my goodbye
