Goodbyes and Cries
A present overwhelmed with fear is easy to Realize
when all you have is Secrets you wish to keep Oblivious-
from those whom you care for and seek their Forgiveness
These realizations are lessons learned through Regrets-
remorse, and most importantly memories I constantly Visualize.
My past is something I can’t get past or Escape-
but here I am trying to rationalize through Denial-
and stating the obvious whilst being Emotional.
To many my Intention may look like Deception-
But to me this situation is no jape worth agape!
And though deceit may bring me my grand prize-
a happily ever after, still I fail to be that callous.
So I sit here writing about hurts and loss.
I don’t know if you can call me wise or just tired of lies.
All I know is that I can’t stop drying my eyes
I don’t need someone to be chivalrous
I just need to find answers and your prayers.
My journey is long but my goodbyes were harder than my cries!
Author notes
Goodbyes are harder than cries even though cries may seem longer than goodbyes!
