Goodnight and Goodbye

sad and overwhelmed

incomplete and undone

insignificant and overused

tired and unloved

just a few of my favorite words

ashamed and upset

worried and confused

before and after

current and what's yet to be

how to show you what's really me

screaming and clawing

shouting and running

soaring and falling

scornful and repressed

I need help but who can see

Help Help Help

pleading and trying

desperate and waiting

afraid and alone

crying and dying

there is no one that can help me now

here and now

ready and resolved

waiting and-hold on-why wait any longer

pens and paper

blades and pills

what will be my way out

forever and always

goodnight and goodbye
