Gorkha Quake

Sometimes nature could be grim

Recalling us the plaints of afore,

This looks a dream

Reminding us Nepal-Bihar 1934.

Gorkha quake; so, quick

7.9 moments of magnitude,

Gusty wind; so, high, like you "Everest rock"

For it ceased 19 souls on mountain "You"

And hid 250 in Langtang's valley.

Thousands of Landlords are homeless

You will see people sit in two and three;

As you move along the seismic streets.

Boldly written on their faces "WEAKNESS"

Though we were warned

For decades; that Nepal was vulnerable.

But while our thoughts were not one

To stop the quiver, we weren't able.
