Got it ...

Job 20:21

21 “Nothing is left for him to devour;
that is why his prosperity does not last.

Got it … Satire

Reflections of an overtone … crimping of a call

Shredding to pieces what was never whole

A self-chosen syndrome that after all

Will wind up in a thesis named: “One’s own idol”

Butcher-block and tricks pounded by sacrificial

Slicing and dicing for the purpose to survive

Appears very slick to the temperamental

Until one’s enticing drowns in its own strife

Purple shaded hues … artificial riches

Nothing left to give … squandered all in sin

Never showing clues … only hidden stitches

In an oversized mid-riff … that is patched deep within
