The Grace of Death

The hum of the wind flows through my ears, I hear it's soft tears.
Stranded with no one, no life, no love.
I sit apon this mighty brick structure, and I count down.
1...
We were young in love and totally inseparable.
2...
Death took you away in his mighty hands, holding you just out of reach.
3...
My tears fall like rain to the world below, one that is naive, foolish, and self conceded.
That all changes as I fly down to the earth below, feeling the wind whip my face.
The speed of time slowing down as I descend.
Then, as if by grace, I see your face.
