The Grace Effect
Humility
Sacrifice
True Love
Repentance
A Chance
A Choice
Abundance
Everlasting
Life Changing
Salvation
Unconditional
These are some words that come to mind when I think of Grace
This Grace that is here to save the human race
This Grace that we can so easily forget...
and some still aren't willing to admit
That Jesus died upon the cross
Knowing fully what it would cost
That only a few... would change there views while others... sit quietly in the church pews
He begged God to change His fate...but still died for your classmates
He prayed and cried tears of blood...but still carries you through the flood
He had to get His heart right... to make sure one day,,, you and God would be tight
Nails in both wrist, through both feet...wishing He could just retreat
We hurled our insults but did not understand that Jesus Christ was in fact the Son of Man
Beaten beyond recognition
Yet we still lack conviction
Tempted to give the angles a call
Yet still decided to die for us all
With one last breath Jesus cried "Elio, Elio Lama Sabachthani"
Meaning "My God, My God why have you forsaken me?"
Now do we see?
Jesus died the death we deserve
Have you not heard?
Christ died for all of us!
Repentance and Baptism? Why should we fuss?
God's Grace is what brought us here, so don't be afraid to shed your tears
Lay down your life and all its defects and let God's Grace take effect!
