The grace of God

What we need is often misconstrude

When what we need is not what we crave

We seem to get an attitude

When money and fame is what we praise

My heart needs the love of God

a full embrace

of love and grace

to heal the aches life brings

I don't need money or even fame

When I have the protection and love

That loving God brings me
