Graduate

I knew that
I was supposed to feel pain
I knew that
It would never be easy
from the day that you left this earth
I knew it would be hard
Without you
It's hard to find me
Because I look into the mirror
and I see your eyes
But you left
And as time went on
it was supposed to get easier
But it's only gotten harder
And I still have nights where I sit crying on my bedroom floor
Because I am lonely
And I know
that if I was ever loved
That maybe you'd be here
You were supposed to be here
But you aren't
I knew it would hurt,
I've always knew it
I just didn't know it would be this much

-m.c.-

I just wanted you to watch me graduate
