GRADUATION

A day to never forget

A turn to the next page

All credits were met

A shift to the next phase

Caps were thrown

Tears were shed

It was time to grow

As high School came to an end.

Ready to be a college kid

Ready to be a young adult

“Apply to every scholarship!”

Says momma who I always consult

Something I know now that I did not know before

Is that you are all alone and ready to explore

No one is saying where to go or what to do,

EVERYTHING now is up to YOU.
