I see the clock counting time,
The minutes passing by.
tic tock tic tock…
The noise in beat with my heart
Is it the end of an hour,
Or just a new start?
Tic tock tic tock…

How time flies by
Staring at my classmates while they all cry
It's a tragedy
We’ve grown up someone come up with the remedy!
Just got the cap and gown and I'm avoiding staring at it.
Keeping it locked up,
Just like reality.

I see the clock counting time,
The minutes passing by.
tic tock tic tock…
The noise in beat with my heart
Is it the end of an hour,
Or just a new start?
Tic tock tic tock…

Waiting for the final destination.
One last time together,
Something so simply called graduation.
The end of childhood.
Released as adults,
With what preparation?
We are filling out papers, giving out information.
People are acting as if they were interested,
"Oh where you going next year?"
No matter the answer,
The response is as fake as the intention,
"Oh that's nice my dear."
Getting crazy every second!
So much things to remember.
Saying a last goodbye to these friendships
Wondering if I'll ever see them later…

I see the clock counting time,
The minutes passing by.
tic tock tic tock…
The noise in beat with my heart
Is it the end of an hour,
Or just a new start?
Tic tock tic tock…
Moving on to follow the education.
Thinking about the purpose
Of one action and the importance of our creation.
Twelve years together and one night to feel accomplished.
One night to assure us that it's over,
Our ties so easily demolished.
What held us together,
Will no longer be there.
We all have to provide for ourselves and find something better.

I see the clock counting time,
The minutes passing by.
tic tock tic tock…
The noise in beat with my heart
Is it the end of an hour,
Or just a new start?
Whatever it may be,
On this journey after high school we will embark.
With a smile on our faces,
And the memories in our hearts.
