Graduation

My chest begins to swell

As stress fogs up my mind

Sometimes I want to yell

As I quickly find

The end of school has almost reached its time

It gets closer and closer

The pressure starts to build

Sometimes I want to boil over

As my head starts to get filled

With the sound

The pound

The audience's voices

Kids talking about their choices

The principal announces

Every kid bounces

Up and down the stage

We can't believe today

Graduation has come
