Graduation
It's Time!
Time for a change.
i'm excited,
I think about how my life is about to change.
I put on a white and black dress
It was a requirement
they wanted us to look like young ladies.
As my parent get dress
and talk to me
About being a young lady.
We head out to Charles Elementary School
on the west side of chicago
I look out the window thanking god that I made it
Wow, my last day as a 8th grade
The journey that have been so long 8 years
Momma say as I get out the car
“Im proud of my baby girl”
I'm nervous but excited at the sametime
It's a time for me to start over
I made it
My friend smiling
overcome with joy
The graduation have begin
The Star banner is playing
I'm marching to the beat
I'm on my way out of elementary school
Nlcp here I come
No More you can't chew gum
No more standing in one straight line
Time to exit the building
Time to say goodbye
I'm ready to party
In welcome my new life
Oh my goodness no more
Charles elementary school
It's over
