Graduation?
Dear future seniors,
Dressed in Purple
Gowns and Caps,
A small girl walks to the stage,
Holding 6 notecards, that she stayed up all night writing.
Her words loud and clear, her words would soon impact us for years…
Everyone arises as the speaker tells us to move our tassels from
Left
To
Right.
Audience erupts in applause,
we look to one another, knowing we’ll always
Remember this day.
But I open my eyes, seeing i’m still in class, no cap or gown.
Realising that moment is only
