Graduation Memories

I was grown up

The day I realized

I was no longer a pup

College visits were setup

I met different reps and was advised

I was grown up

The wait til graduation had sped up

The college decisions were now finalized

I was no longer a pup

There was no time for a makeup

I walked across the stage idolized

I was grown up

There was no longer a buildup

I was done they all emphasized

I was no longer a pup

I did not know to hold up

I didn’t understand what to memorialize

I was grown up

I was no longer a pup
