Graduation Pride

Today I stand in a cap and gown 

About to say goodbye to this smalltown 

I dreaded I would never be here

But now sad the time is near

My success is not just mine 

For you were always on the sideline

You dedicated so much time

Up the ladder you helped me climb

Every obstacle you got me through

I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you

I'm thankful I made you proud 

Instead of just being a face in the crowd
