Graduation Speech

Congratulations to the students in white gowns, with special medallions, with notable recognitions.

Congratulations to the students in white gowns, with special medallions, with notable recognitions.

But have we degraded the success of the rest of the students with these red and white partitions?

We are all different students, yet, we are tested the same.

Like athletes of different sports, forced into one game.

I quote Albert Einstein, who speaks the truth, complete and undiluted.

"Everybody is a genius, but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid."

Many students today live as fish. Their intuitive self-esteems shot down.

Believing they are stupid, incompetent, and purposeless. This occurrence is not sound.

Our education system hinders individuality and creativity, as well as lacks the inclusion of real-life applications.

Our education system needs real-life conjunction with the three fundamental R’s: reading, writing, and arithmetic operations.

The world is big and scary, and schooling has not prepared you enough.

But don’t let that discourage you, even when your life seems the most tough.

After all, education is what remains after you've forgotten what schooling has taught you.

So focus on the things that make you feel good, rather than the things that you feel you cannot do.

I am not here to live up to your expectations, and you aren't here to live up to mine. That’s the importance in the aftermath.

You all are amazing in your own way.

So do what you love, and create your own path.

Congratulations class; congratulations parents; on a mission completed without abort.

And thank you to everyone who has given me his or her continued support.

Thank you.
