The Grander Scale of Things
An ocean
full of unknown life
is not as mysterious
as the thoughts that can run through a mind.
A grand Oak tree,
that has grown for centuries,
is not as colossal as the family
that will use the wood to make a home.
A mountain is not as
towering
as the choices we've made
that we seem to cling to.
A desert that stretches forever
is still not as vast
as the possibilities that
we call life choices.
All the stars in the sky
are immeasurable,
yet so are all of the feelings
one word could spark.
In the world there are
seven billion people.
One is nothing compared.
Yet you are everything.
