From Grandfather to Grandaughter

Like a cockleburr I stuck to your side

It was tough love that you magnified

You taught me to work hard

This I won't disregard

In that I will always take pride

Always get back in the saddle

Don't go to far when you travel

Be willing to to serve

And go with the curve

Whatever you do, never gabble
