The Grandiose


Three ladders, two ladders another over there Climb to reach the tippy-top neighbors stand and stare Why the heck a birdbath? old truck that doesn't run? And there the pine-log fortress where we had childish fun. A redneck yard with lawnmowers the place I now call home But I'll soon return to Houston and there trudge on alone.
