Grandma

If  I could make a wish to Aladdin

I want u to hold my hand and say u love me again

But I know I will never have an aladdin

So instead, Ill dig out the old photo album

Which i cherish the most

For it has all the incredible memories we share

that no one could ever take away from me.

I still remember that last time I saw you

I was in your big warm arms

And you were crossing a street.

A huge truck coming out of nowhere ran right towards you.

You whispered to my ears and told me that you'll always love me

then stood straight until that monster devoured u.

I still don't know how u managed

But i don't care anymore.

I believe we all have breakdowns, big or small.

So When all emotions come over me overwhelmingly

I think about u.

Sometimes,I wonder what we could possibly do together and about all the fights we might have had

IF you were still here.

I wonder

what my life would be if that truck never existed.

Sadly,I don’t have a time machine.

Somehow I knew deep inside

though i couldn't even talk

You left the world and me

forever and for good.

I  tried to hate you for leaving me alone.

Of course i failed.

How could i possibly hate someone who gave me a second chance in life?

People say u could have taken me with u

But u didn’t.

And I know u would have made the same choice

if  u had to again.

Mom said you went to another world to save other girls.

I firmly believed her and still believe.

I look up to u as a warrior and a fighter.

I just don’t know why God needs u to do that

But i know you’ll always be my grandma

No matter where u are

I hope u are one of my audience right now

because that way u’d know how much i love u.
