Grandma

Dear Grandma,

It's been a long time since we've spoken.

It seems like this is the only way to reach you.

I wish you'd call.

I just want to see you.

I wish you could see what I'm doing.

I wish you could see how I feel.

I just wanted you to be proud of me.

It sucks that you aren't here.

How beautiful is heaven?

Do the angels fly high?

Do you have wings?

Sometimes I see you in the sky.

I know you're probably busy.

So I'll just wait here.

Sopefully you reply.

So I'll just wait here.

Wait for a reply.

   Sincerely,

 Linda Geiger
