Grandma (Life in a Letter)

Dear Grandma,

It's been a minute since we’ve talked

Lately I've been thinking of all my memories from when I was a kid

Do you remember when I first walked?

And all the fun, crazy things we did?

Going to the park and climbing that big ol’ tree

Running around wild and free

Like all the squirrels we would see

The amount of energy you have amazes me

I miss the things we did

I miss being a kid

I miss when we would slide

I miss when you would hide

All the fun

While under the Vegas sun

You always picked me up from school

And we spent a lot of time at the pool

I wish I could go back to those days

You are sublime

I know you’ll be there for me always

Even though I don’t see you all the time

Love,

Tyler
