Grandma's Gorgeous Angel
Of all the things I need, the things I need for me
When stranded on an island with the salty sight of sea
There is nothing more, not an item more that I would bring,
Than my Grandma's gorgeous angel that was given wings last spring.
This island is so lonely, so lonely I start to cry,
But Grandma's gorgeous angel is with me day and night.
The food is always scarce, so scarce I begin to starve,
Then Grandma's gorgeous angel shows me hunting isn't hard.
The night is falling quickly, too quick for me to act,
When Grandma's gorgeous angel takes me to a cave to lay my back.
Then morning brings frustration, I'm forever feeling stuck.
Is Grandma's gorgeous angel just a stronger sense of luck?
My hope is growing weary, so old it's growing wrinkles,
For all I know my mind wants me to jump into a sinkhole.
But not until the day, my thoughts turned into actions
Grandma's gorgeous angel saved my soul from all the sadness.
She was always watching, watching forever on this island
Keeping me from danger always holding onto my hand.
So there is nothing more, not an item more that I would need,
Than my Grandma's gorgeous angel on this island here with me.
