Grandma's Hand

From the birth of a baby boy they would call DJ,

Grandma's hand shaped him into the man he is today.

Only having one hand, Grandma still made all things possible

how she could provide for the family and beat every obstacle.

The same hand that would get on correct us when we wasn't right

prayed over us before she could sleep at night.

Grandma's hand pointed me in the right directions.

Helped me stay aware of tricks and deceptions.

Not only did Grandma use her hand for me,

but it has benifited everyone in my family.
