Granted

Hello - cultures, families, friends;

I am a vessel for a voiceless friend.

In my time of need, she granted me her voice.

In her time of need, I grant her my song,

in hopes I may carry her message along.

I am the words she has spoken,

I am their individual and conceptual whole.

Kera, I speak as friend and foe,

your truth lives within me, wherever you may go.

"To Death, I thank, for taking lives, not ends,

their memories await my arrival in bed.

Long said, that I don't see in black, white, and red.

The world as a whole is the liquid I bled.

My blood in itself is a mess, I can't stress

the fact that the hands which I love most, nonetheless,

are stained with the same errs I protest against

and in your eyes, I know I've been granted forgiveness."

"Let me thank the ocean, Greece knows it's loved

But the stars know my guilt is one step above

that which I regard as something forgivable,

if it weren't for your intervention, I might be at a pinnacle

in life, my strife would be for wrong, not right,

seeking fights from those that were already worn,

I tore pages out of a book already sworn

to do righteous by my values and the ideals I kept close,

but the most I sought was how far the wind goes

And the ghost that I had become just goes to shows

even Hate is afraid of Love's shadows."

"I shall expose to you my fears, my fellow peers

Though I know some of you will fashion them into spears,

but they can no longer hurt me if I know that they're here,

so while I draw you closer, know that they are far more near."

Fear one:

"I fear the day in which all may walk safely from their home,

into what I know, lest I must go and consequently greet them,

for what do I say, if by chance my beliefs may

stray from the ideals that they have had laid

out for them, for surely they'd be dismayed,

red neck, red desk, it was I that disobeyed -

refusing to choose their lives' over my own way.

But I do not take for granted, lessons I have learned -

shield and sword are effective against their word,

and the friends that equip such armor,

to go to battle again, after fiends for a friend,

is what I'm grateful for at sights larger."

Fear two:

"I fear beds lest I should occupy one,

on the day my lungs decide the cancer has won.

My life cannot be over if it has yet to begun, so

one by one, I shall pick up the pieces,

blood coughed, world spun, and it is I in need of peace, some-

one come carry me to the song I sung,

the notes used to repay friendship I was given.

There is not a single foe my song has not forgiven."

Fear three:

"I fear my family's issues, lest I cannot provide the tissues,

incapacitated as I may be, I still offer myself to look to

and family, you know, no matter what I go through,

you'll have me by your side, so save your 'adieu's,

for when I'll really be gone -

never, and that's a promise I will always stick to."

Fear four:

"My final fear, is the message I have entrusted to Kvontvm,

should not reach your hearts or everyone

intended to hear this message should by some reason,

my voice give out before I can speak all."

I can now say in good trust,

I must have accomplished something in earnest,

should this message be given to the rest,

not preached, but known to the readers that shall see this.
