I am a graphic designer. I used the atoms that make up matter to everything to metaphor pixels in graphic design. Pixels make up all computerized-graphic pieces, and with talent/creativity/computer/ideas/etc, designers can make ANYTHING. It is a paradise for graphic designers to be able to create what makes them happy.
