Grateful

Grateful

Dear Saddened Teen,

Nobody cares

Nobody cares

Nobody cares

These are statements we often say in our life

Whether a daughter to a mother, son to father, even husband to wife.

We walk around moping and groaning about the things we don’t have and the things we don’t like…that we don’t even stop to care…

About the man on the street hungry or the woman who after losing her son to cancer, has now begun to lose her hair…

No, our problems are more important than that… after all,

We don’t have the latest iPhone or the brand-new Gucci backpack.

Sounds harsh huh

But you see that’s the thing with this generation

We can’t take confrontation

And if there’s confrontation, there will be complications

Because we have no education…on how to show gratitude for what God has blessed us with.

Yea, life might be rough, and I don’t know your struggle

But shhh…listen…Boom Boom Boom Boom.

That’s a heartbeat…you’re alive

Be grateful

God is still and will forever be good

Be grateful!
