Grateful for My Navel

Dear navel,

We've been through so much together,

Since the umbilical cord was cut forever,

To now, when you're on my stomach, right in the center.

I love the way you make me feel,

I mean you're an innie...what a steal.

When the lint collects in your crevices,

Or when you send me cute little messages,

You'll always be my best friend,

No matter what the mess is.
