The Grave Couldn't Hold Me
The grave couldn't hold me any longer; my past is now dead and gone!
I have been washed and baptized and made new again.
I didn't do this for applause, I did it in obedience to Christ because I passed up other opportunities in getting baptized.
My baptism was not a performance but it is a proclamation of what I truly believe in my heart.
I now belong to Christ fully, and my aim daily is to live as He would and act as He would, and so that in all things, Christ may be glorified in my highest highs and lowest lows.
My baptism wasn't just a moment to forget but my testimony to share because I am now a new creation. I am living with purpose, standing on victory won for me because Jesus didn't just save me but He claimed me.
Amen! Soli Deo Gloria!!
