Graven

Mind against metal, the ashes of a former life doth settle, a broken river

A graven archetype implanted into the sanctum of the mind, an empty quiver

Shake and shiver in the dead of winter, the subjugation of the flake, all is true

Slowly falling, fading, mine heart is cascading as the angel falls, only to pursue

Yes though I walk amongst the luminaries on high, shall I forever more fly?

As the winged bird of Thoth, Garuda shall carry thee to a crimson red sky

Elation of serotonin's station, Be joyous for Sol doth smile radiant rays across

Elpis doth squeeze and strum the heart strings lyre to please the gilded albatross

Nature to behold, in a story untold, as courage grows manifold to ascend the ladder

Defiant at first for paradise I thirst, that I may descend from mine nimbus, unto matter

Through the storm, beyond the norm, forget the pain or be driven insane, shine ever bright

Hold on tight to regain thy second sight, and be filled with delight upon this moonlight

As the phoenix from the ashes shall reality shatter and be torn asunder, Oh this sacred thunder

A catalyst of pleasure lurking atop Libras measure, tipping the scales towards lands of wonder
