Gray stare

A snap! the color flutters the air

Lights go out,

And now I lifelessly stare.

______________

A second ago urging for sleep

Your shifted attention

Awake…..I went in too deep.

 Now absent and torn

…... Grey …….. It creeps.

Fleeing the scene to process my storm

The battle inside, goes silent

All the color no more.

__

Eyes like glass distilled so clear

Trying to flush

Unwanted solitude,

 He is now here.

________________

 My vehemence is taken,

Thrown out the door.

Solitude stops me,

And states “you shall feel no more”.

___________

Conclusion of loss protrudes my mind

The clouds, this void?

its Grey,

 standing behind.

---

Reminding me

That No color shall reach my eyes.

As long as you stand,

You may no longer feel inside.

___________

Returning back, where Grey stained my head.

I lie down,

I turn over and ask you, to put it

to an end.
