The Great Controversy (Tired)

Don’t know what is the deal

But I’m tired

Insane in the membrane like Cypress Hill

The way they organize the system of the school

I can’t help it

I’ll do nothin but drool

Still waiting for that moment

No need for anti-depresent

Thinkin of the future, thinkin of the Father

When I struggle in the present

Whenever I’m a father in the future

I hope my children will listen

Cause I’m not messin or dissin

Out there in the world they brainwashin

Now go ahead and pick up your head

My son go up and tidy your bed

Now live your life up to the highest

Be the brightest

take my bread

Take my bread

Like the Father sent His son

That’s what He said

Now this liberty no it ain’t free

Just look around

How many dead

Tired of the bullshit going on

Dropping bombs in Palestine

Izzy made a different creature

Askin love like Frankenstein

Open up your eyes and now go see

That Blood will truly set you free

Even pacifism got martyrs that would really die for me

Humiliated, violated for the sake of the Almighty

My persona of heresy

Unmask the Great Controversy

Does it even concern ya-When the doctor- Feed the children with concerta?

Poppin pills  to stop withdrawals

Semi auto like beretta

Thinkin better ways to go ahead and do my therapy

My psychiatrist with his promises

I see the slavery

Now shut the fuck up man with that bullshit saying  you know me

Medical history ain't shit

The only truth is spoken by me

You can drug me, you can fight me, diagnose

Go lie to my mommy...

I got this fight alone

But my dear LORD will not forsake me

Going to this Promise Land

They call it Exodus

But there something else they did not tell

When I saw the prejudice

Pop a gat to Malcolm X

But the Panthers didn't stop

I wonder who is next

To be hung in the crucifix?

Wise men and wise women is something this world really rejects

Now I wonder when we ever gonna ask this fuckin question

Reason the perception bout da schooling education

Nowadays we be asking

"Oh damn what are your grades?"

I guess we becoming too liberal

Not asking things like

"Oh damn what have you learned?"

What can I earn? I'm misunderstood

Wherever I turn

This anger of mine being a sign

A call to prayer I must discern

These tears of mine I must remind

Myself I got Allah

Allah—Jehovah, Elohim, Immanuel

I seen a lot in my age

But I Don't know if they can tell

I'll go ahead and explain to them

If that is what He Wills

I don't know if yall know

What it's like to be 17 going through a midlife crisis

Unexpected bullshit coming up in my life like rolling dices

A lot things go on at home whether I'm  alone or not within my family

But that's private shit...

Some things gotta remain confidential while I save my sanity

Reality— be telling us that life is never fair

But it breaks heart when someone's in  need and then we never share

No Flex Zone? Neither do you also know and perceive of what is better

How bout a No Flight Zone

On those people getting droned

In the Middle East who need a Saviour

If you ever wanna ask a question about my identity

Don't be ashamed

And don't you ever comfort me for the sake of pity

I pray that y'all can comprehend this

If troubles come along in life,

Start a revolution

You ain't Guevara but surely you got this

I've seen two worlds falling apart already

What makes you think  I cannot endure a third one

If I can still smile

Though I am seemingly vile

You can call me Rocky

Cause if I can do it, you can do it

We all can do it

Sí se puede

You know that Chavez said it.

Two-hundred fifty mile march

Now that's a struggle and you know he never regret it

All these idealistic intentions

Yeah, we might see them as good

But he and the other liberators were persecuted for the sake of brotherhood

Mandela, Martin Junior, and Minister Malcolm

All humans for tranquility is welcomed but their mind is too extreme

The choices were death or live in prison
