The Great Divide

I can see you in my mind

As I am looking down the street

Your memory won’t fade

I can’t bare this heat

I can’t eat, I can’t sleep

I’m wrapped up in your web

I can’t talk, open up

Inside I am just dead

I would rather feel empty

Inside this body

Than the pain you caused me

And left me out to dry

You stole the life outta me

Why can’t you see

I’m only half a man

I just want you and me

Thoughts of you are killing me

It’s all ripping me apart

Thoughts of you are killing me

Burning my insides, I fall apart

I want you

Can’t have you

I reach for you

I want back my heart

Tearing me apart

Yea just tearing me apart

Tearing me

Leading me

Tearing me

Oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh,

This is the great divide.
