Great Expectations

I was born normal.

I don't know why they chose me.

The pressure built up through the years.

My expectations higher than the rest.

Why do I have to be better?

I don't even have confidence in myself,

why do they?

When I think like that and start not to care,

that is when they are upset.

But still they don't lose hope.

They know the fight is in me somewhere.

Then I realize this is a good thing.

I should strive to succeed.

I am better and can be the best.

I will not let them down.

They chose the right person,

and that is me.
