Great Grandma Leonia

My great grandmother was a beautiful woman. Her southern white descent, Merged with the pride of a Cherokee woman Her grace and beauty transcended nine decades, Before she answered her call Home. I am now only left with her words of wisdom: Passed from daughter-in-law, to daughter, to great grand daughter "Always do good and be a good scholar: This quote carries me through life. I thank God I had the pleasure of knowing you. You are a beacon of hope to me Your laugh plays vividly in my mind. If only I could talk to you- No, that is asking too much of God I must endure the hardships of life alone, With only your memory to guide me.
