The Great Leap

It’s no big deal,

I heard them say

Go to a new school

It’s a new day

You’ll meet new friends

And learn a lot too

Don’t be afraid

We were once like you

If you choose to remain

That’s the safe thing to do

But remember, my dear

The unknown can be good too

So leap and adventure into the unknown

There’s always someone there, you won’t be alone

So I did it, I did it

I made the big leap

I took that big chance

And not once did I weep

For I should have gone sooner

But the past I cannot repeat

And now my friends are many

And my worries are few

I am learning so much

I can't believe all I can do!
