Great Men

Great men never need the pity of others.
They never ask for the care, or the attention.
Nevertheless I find myself wanting to give you
whatever will make you feel better.
Anything to make you feel better.
It breaks me to see you upset,
even over such small matters.
Great men always care too much, like you do.
The world stands at your fingertips,
all you need is ask, and you shall have.
Troubles come and troubles go,
but in the end, when nothing else is left;
if nothing else, remember you are loved.
