"Great Things Never Last"

It was great while we had it.

Learning how to laugh with you

Learning what made you laugh

Learning how you laughed.

It was nice to see:

Someone who looked forward to seeing me

Someone who awoke me with a breakfast made with love

Someone who wished me a goodnight... Every night.

The time we spent together could be described as many things;

Playful

Relaxed

Bittersweet.

This was all so good to me.

This was what I needed.

But great things never last, and so our relationship seems to have come to an end.

Even knowing this was coming, I never knew how hard it would be.

You turned to me only to turn from me.

But like I said, "Great things never last".
