why do we see

such earthly beauties

as such monsters?

why do we say they are cold blooded

lacking emotion

and feeling?

Is it because it's true,

or simply because we are afraid

of what we do not know?

have we not the teeth to tear flesh

or the taste for blood?

do we not eat their kind more often than they eat us?

such i ask thee,

is it we who should fear them

or they who should fear us?
