Greater Than a King
"Greater Than a King"
Every man dies, not every man really lives,
The value of a man is found in how much he gives
A man can give in many different ways,
He can lay down his life or can give some of his days,
He can give to the cause or he can betray all,
What he stands for is lost, even the greatest men fall,
Every man counts the cost, not all men answer the call.
What would you give when the world needed you most?
Would you stand up? or would they consider you a ghost?
A man can paint the ground red with his blood,
He can lend a hand when a town is destroyed by a flood,
He can help build a wall or he can choose to tear it down,
He can be greater than a king without ever wearing a crown,
More powerful than an army with all of its renown.
Every man has dreams, not every man lives them,
He fights for them no matter who is there to condemn,
A man can give all he has to reach his goal,
Until his dreams come true he will never be whole,
He gives love to those who have already started to fall,
He give hope to the few who have chosen to crawl,
He stands for the ones who cannot stand at all.
Every man dies; not every man truly lives,
The quality of a man is seen in what he gives.
