A Greater Love

Fighting the weeps of sin,

The devil has stolen from me.

Scars from self inflicted injuries,

Break the devil from my actuality.

My flaws are seen so pronounced,

But GOD believes i'm worth it.

He sent his only begotten son to die for me.

I admit I have fallen off the road I've created,

And I've needed someone to be my guide.

I've found my way.

I'm not screaming "I am saved",

But rather i'm mumbling "I was astray".

GOD had his way with me.

From darkness I have risen,

And all I ever  knew was I was loved.
