Greatest Joy

Once on a deserted island,

No worldly items of any kind,

Every thing around me is sea and higland,

Only one person comes to mind.

The joy that was brought to me,

From the time of many years ago,

A face that I could always see

No matter where I go.

Wit as sharp as a knife,

Soul and heart as pure as light,

A being always in my life,

Tis my sister, my one true delight.

She brings life into death,

Brings joy into darkness,

Allows me to live every breath,

Knowing that I'll never be heartless.

For she is the greatest joy I hold,

And always will until I'm old.
