THE GREATEST TRIP

THE GREATEST TRIP

When will we visit worlds on high? When will we soar to the unknown?

When will we float thru a clear, blue sky and beautiful planets be shown?

It isn't to be in a man-made ship, nor with companions who war and kill.

Instead, God's angels will guide our trip, and, oh, how our hearts will thrill!

Yet, the greatest joy we'll ever find is now beyond Orion's light.

For soon the entire sky will shine, as with Jesus we take our flight.

Are you content with this world's sci-fiction dreams, with weird, space creatures and men?

Are you satisfied with such polluted streams, and then have your short life end?

The Creator who made us knows how we think, He made us to want to explore.

So, He sent us a Book with a map and a link and plenty of guides for the tour.

We needn't depend on the wisdom of men to supply us the answers we seek,

For He has given a wonderful plan to those who are humble and meek.

God asks His children to return to His fold, to find out why they were created.

He has glorious sights for them to behold and great truths to them shall be stated.

We can look forward to worlds on high to view many sights unknown.

Yet, the grandest place we'll ever spy is the gathering around God's throne.
