Greed

All this country cares about is money Yeah, preach, “For the good of the people” Well that’s a crock of shit Power is in the money What’s that? A country with new found oil Let’s start another war! So more people can die But we can still get that check No one sees the future wreck Not even just in oil More than all that spoil We need to mind our business We have our own wars going on here Our own things to worry about Those countries we help could care less about U S. Told, “Don’t get involved” I think we can see why Too much bloodshed in business that isn’t ours Over commodities we can get ourselves We shouldn’t be this world police force But we get involved all the time Our greed is the root of all evil We let a few men in suits make our decisions Yeah, the American dream We’re livin’ it.
