The Greed

The eyes sharp and yellow,
see to the past
of a terror, unyielding
shaking, desperation, lust
unto the wise withered willow
holds all that is grave
along with the torso
lay the gold of whom it had slain
its vision, it has lost
like those who persevered by its side
