The Green Apple of Her Eye

Ripe from start, you fell from above

To her you were indeed that one true love, to say

The least, to say the less

You were the cause of the ba-dump within her chest

I saw her smile, I saw you grin

Little did she know how much a sin

It was for her to fall for you, the green apple boy

Who would soon bid her adieu

I say I knew, I say it's true, I say I was the narrator

Of  a red tale turned blue

When it first started, when they had their first fight

The green apple of her eye was quick to bite

What about love, what about care

What about the times he promised and sweared

To his heart, to all he minds, to the girl he says

Forever he is to be intertwined

By the strings of fate, by the strings of trust

The strings so lose, strings turned to cuffs

She so surprised, she so unknowing

She let the blame's blow on her keep going

It is the fault of I, not the fault of he

My dear green apple boy, stay, I pleade

I rememer her say with words so clear

Unmatched by her tears that stayed even clearer to

The boy who fell from the heavens the

Boy who was a Luce of interference

The green apple of her eye that upon his presence

Now plucked fear in, how did she

Not see, how did she not know the difference

Between love meant and love not so

He held my hand when boys got close

He walked me home when I used to walk

Alone

He texts me constantly when I wasnt home

He cared for me and thats all I know

How mistaken, how blinded was she

As I am the narrator and its true I see

The real meaning behind all of these things

The real bystander who understood certain keys

Her green apple boy had different intentions

Holding her hand signified what was thine

He walked her home just so he knows she

Walks with no other along the road

As for when she wasnt home

Texting her was his way of knowing

Who she was around while the hours kept rolling

He cared for her but was too controlling

He cared for her but he watched as her tears kept flowing

This fight I saw

This fight I see

As a narrator it has everything to do with me

Unable to interfere I watch as she goes

Straight to his arms where she fell

Victim to what she thought was love.
